Job Description

- A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience is required.
- Must possess 4+ years’ experience working with designers, campaign planners or account executives.
- Must possess working knowledge of Adobe Create Suites, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Must possess strong time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to accurately manage multiple and sometime conflicting requests is required.
- Must be persuasive with excellent written and verbal communications.
- Must have a key eye for detail and be able to proof artwork against briefs.
- Schedule, approved creative brief, support info (old job #, reference visuals.)
- Making sure all digital files are accounted for before passing job to the creative team to start.
Opening client files, (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) to ensure all files are usable for creative team to start the project. - Manage project timelines within a project management system, which includes but not limited to:
- Creating a task on Creative Task list for each project to be shared with creative director, designer and campaign planners.
- Revise and maintain shifting schedules to keep creative director, designer and campaign planner aware of current status
- Manage reminders to creative director, designer and project owners if deadlines in jeopardy
- Regularly check project status with appropriate team members to communicate delays or troubleshoot timing issues, including negotiating project deadlines with team members and creative staff
- Use project management system to:
- Assess capacity of design team and assignment of new projects with creative director
- Manage status of projects via weekly production meetings, project owner meetings, designer check-ins and weekly new project meetings.
- Will work closely with creative director, designers, and campaign planners.
- Ensure proper closure of projects by checking the creative tasks list to see if projects were delivered on time.
- Track monthly, roadblocks or successes in the aim building on a better process. It’s important that each month there is time to reflect on any sore points to see how they can be avoided with the BU or designers.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
The Digital Traffic Manager monitors the general flow of all digital design projects between creative director, designers, campaign planners, and multiple business units to ensure timely completion and delivery. This requires having a close harmonious working relationship with the director, designers, campaign planners and BU’s to make sure jobs are running smoothly and there isn’t a gap in communication of requests coming from either side.
