  • Job Description

      Responsibilities:

      • Understand, document, and communicate dimensionally-related technical requirements to component suppliers
      • Use CAD tools to validate the correct application of engineering design rules
      • Use technical analysis to define and negotiate component-level engineering specifications
      • Lead cross functional meetings to gain consensus on technical requirements
      • Validate checking fixture concepts and component control plans
      • Participate in the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process

      Requirements:
      • 100% remote. Occasional travel to the US for meetings. Must be located in Ontario.
      • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
      • 1-3 years of automotive engineering or industrial manufacturing experience
      • CAD experience preferred
      • Knowledge of quality management systems and procedures preferred
      • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) preferred
