      Position Summary: Candidate will work in a restaurant-like setting, in a non-tipping environment, perfect for those seeking steady hours and income. Flexibility is essential in this role, including occasional weekends and holidays. Favorable working hours as no late nights are required. Other duties as assigned.

      Essential Job Responsibilities:

      • Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.
      • Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.
      • Take orders from the residents and assist them as needed.
      • Inform residents what foods are available
      • Provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction.
      • Know residents by name and their food-beverage likes and dislikes.

      Education, Experience, and Other Requirements

      • Must be age 16 or older
      • Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

      • Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
      • Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
      • Working 3-3.75 hours per shift while standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Willingness to learn and help others
      • Enjoyment in working with older adults
      • Some experience in food service is preferred
