What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and analysis of complex healthcare claims, pharmacy, and lab data
- Evaluate and present healthcare utilization and cost containment reports
- Direct Health Plan strategic analysis and planning
- Mentor, coach, and provide guidance on finance and analysis
- Set departmental priorities in alignment with the operating plan and budget
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience leading healthcare analytics function
- 12 years of work experience in claims processing and/or healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of SQL 2005/2008 SSRS report development
- Familiarity with relational database concepts and SDLC concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5-7 years of supervisory experience
