      Leadership

      • Develops a high-performing sales and customer-centric team focused on delivering results and developing people.

      • Lead, mentor, and motivate the teams, provide guidance, performance feedback, and training to maximize performance and our customer experience.

      Sales Strategy and Execution:

      • Establish the strategic effectiveness of a customer success playbook and programs that achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention in partnership with e-commerce strategies.

      • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action as needed.

      • Oversee the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure. Implement best practices for lead qualification, prospecting, and opportunity management to maximize sales conversion rates.

      Customer Relationship Management

      • Provide leadership for all sales and support teams both domestic and globally, to achieve effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues and the highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

      • Evaluates organizational structure, utilization of 3rd party vendors, and systems infrastructure to deliver an exceptional internal and external customer experience.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration

      • Collaborates with other teams and departments such as marketing, sales enablement, and operations as well as external partners to align sales and support and revenue-generating initiatives to achieve overall company objectives.

      • Provides insight and feedback from the sales and support teams for key VOC marketing strategies and operational efficiencies.

      Other typical tasks may include:

      • Participate in and may be asked to lead organizational change initiatives.

      • Travel (internationally and|or domestically) up 25% as dictated by business need.

      • Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to possible reallocation of efforts to other organizations per business need and management request.

      Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in business or other related degree

      • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred

      • Typically, 10+ years of experience in sales, customer service, and/or supply chain

      • Typically, 5+ years managing teams with a focus on mentoring, coaching and performance management.

      • Deep knowledge of Digi-Key, and/or the electronic component distribution industry

      • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills are required.

      • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels from individual contributors to executives.

      • Superior influencing and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to influence change based on collaboration.

      • Demonstrated ability to drive change within organizations.

      • Strong business management and acumen skills. Must demonstrate proficiency with business cases, contracts, and negotiation, etc.

      • Demonstrated success working in a global, matrix-environment with ability to influence without direct authority.

      • Experience in the IT infrastructure in technology solutions, services, and industry knowledge in workforce management software applications, CRM applications, Unified messaging, etc.
