- Operate various industrial machines simultaneously, handling up to four machines at a time.
- Utilize basic hand and power tools to change tooling as needed.
- Employ quality instruments to ensure parts meet specified quality standards.
- Perform repetitive manual lifting and pushing of materials throughout the department.
- Ensure proper documentation of materials, batch numbers, and other relevant data per guidelines.
- Maintain the ability to withstand heat and remain standing for 8 to 12 hours.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with machine operation.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and assembly.
- Skill in using calipers and press operating.
- Experience with laser operation and mechanical assembly.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
- Consistent work history with 1+ year per job.
Job Title: Machine Operator ($23-24/hr)
Job Description
A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is seeking multiple machine operators to join their team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves operating industrial machines and requires a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
2nd shift: 2:30PM to 11:00PM Monday through Friday ($23/hr)
3rd shift: 10:30PM to 7:00AM Sunday through Thursday ($24/hr)
*** OT will be worked 2- to 4-hours extended at the end of the shift. If Saturday is needed, there will be an advanced notice. ***

Work Environment
This role is based in a very hot but clean work environment depending on the department. The facility spans 1 million square feet. Training is conducted on the 1st shift for approximately 4 months before transitioning to the designated shift. Shift premiums are provided for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
