  Direct Support Person-DSP - Hospital

  Here at CareerStaff Unlimited, we are currently looking to hire Direct Support Person for 16 week contract positions at a Long Term Care facility in Milledgeville,GA! These passionate qualified DSP will have a strong focus on patient care and be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Transcript or high school diploma will be required. as a Direct Support Person(DSP) in Long Term Care. Additionally, individuals with experience dealing with developmental disabilities are highly encouraged to apply.   Hourly Pay:

  $18.50/hr

  POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments, and interventions, specific to position specialty
  2. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
  3. Promote patient's independence by establishing patient care goals
  4. Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
  5. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
  6. Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies, and personnel, according to position setting
  7. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
  8. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping the information confidential

  CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

  1. CPR/First Aid from American Heart Association or American Red Cross ( Classes also provided upon hire)
  2. High School Diploma or GED required
