      Our Direct Support Professional (DSP) assist individuals with disabilities and special needs in an in home setting. This person is responsible for helping with daily living activities such as toileting, bathing, housekeeping, and community activities.

      Here is what you can do for Wabash Center as our Direct Support Professional (DSP):

      • Have an interest in and empathy for persons with disabilities
      • Obtain a H.S. Diploma or GED or relevant related work experience
      • Provide personal care support for those that we serve
      • Have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of vehicle insurance
      • Assist individuals with their finances, shopping and bill paying and other daily requirements as needed
      • Able to write reports and document observations and activities
      • Be a rock star representative of Wabash Center to the individuals we serve and their family members or guardians

      Wabash Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer

      • High school diploma/GED preferred
      • Experience in direct support service and/or working with intellectual disabilities preferred
      • Must provide own transportation, have a valid driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance and acceptable driving record
