What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
- Foster positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
- Ensure client safety and maintain a safe living environment
- Encourage self-help activities among clients
- Accompany clients to scheduled appointments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work in a group home or home-like setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the disability services field or similar caregiving roles
- Familiarity with personal care and support services for individuals with disabilities
