      The employee will be a 340B subject matter expert and will be responsible for leading 340B analysis and optimization efforts for 340B Impact customers. The employee will be the primary subject matter expert for the solution within McKesson. The employee will collaborate with and often lead the field sales team to create and claim value on behalf of McKesson to positively impact customer renewals and new sales wins. Using consultative methods, the employee will be responsible for achieving financial goals related to McKesson profitability and customer savings.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Using consultative methods, coordinate with and lead Field Sales / VP Renewals to claim 340B value on behalf of McKesson. This value will directly impact customer retention and renewal efforts for McKesson distribution customers.

        • Coordinate with customer, field sales, and Macro Helix personnel to identify and execute on 340B optimization opportunities.

        • Collaborate with Field Sales to identify and present value to customer. Lead data analysis and advisory assessments to demonstrate value that translates into customer minded focus, ensuring McKesson 340B Impact value is communicated and recognized by health system leaders and decision-makers.

        • Use available data resources, advanced pharmacy operations knowledge and 340B subject matter expertise to analyze, interpret and predict trends, evaluate performance, and provide actionable insights.

        • Act as the “lead” to collaborate with team consultants and other McKesson resources to provide recommendations and prioritize solutions for issues regardless of complexity and to develop innovative strategies.

        • Achieve McKesson and customer financial targets using 340B expertise and the 340B Impact solution.

      • Support internal and external customers requiring additional 340B Impact training and subject matter expertise.

      • Use 340B Impact engagements to identify and introduce additional McKesson opportunities to deliver value through products and services. Work with CSI Products/Services leads and P&AS team to identify opportunities and trending across customers that utilize 340B Impact and other McKesson tools and services. Serve as the 340B Impact business lead to Buy Smarter. Work with MHS and CSI leadership to develop business cases to support additional technology enhancements for 340B Impact.

      • Work with Business Development team to leverage customer successes and optimization analyses to secure new McKesson distribution and Macro Helix business.

      Minimum Requirements

      Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.

      Critical Skills

      • Pharmacy business acumen based on experience with hospital pharmacy informatics and hospital operations

      • Subject matter expertise regarding the data and business processes surrounding 340B split billing software operations

      • Experience advising and influencing health system pharmacy and executive leadership

      • Willingness to master data and business processes surrounding 340B Impact

      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

      • Strong oral and written communications skills

      • Track record of success independently identifying targets and customer problems while executing successfully

      Education / Training:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a business or healthcare-related field

      • Graduate or professional degrees preferred

      • 340B ACE certification or extensive (10+ years) history of 340B hospital management experience

      Specialized Knowledge / Skills:

      • 340B ACE certification (preferred)

      • Healthcare experience (required)

      • Hospital experience (required)

      • Pharmacy and supply chain experience (preferred)

      • Experience presenting to executives and other decision-makers

      • Strong MS Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)

      • Data and analytics management a plus

      Working Conditions:

      • Work from home, fully remote

      • Candidate should be prepared for travel (anticipate 20%) for customer or business meetings

      Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.):

      • Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required

      As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

      Our Base Pay Range for this position

      $125,800 - $209,600
