Oversee company’s ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with general accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversees the general accounting function, which includes, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management.
Ensure accuracy of the company’s accounts by developing and maintaining reconciliation schedules, month end closing binder, finance metrics and researching variances.
Directs the daily accounting operations supporting the financial close process activities in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
Direct the activities of the General Ledger team and ensure accounting accuracy and timely dissemination of financial reports including, but not limited to, internal and external financial statements.
Manages and directs the core operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
Lead the team in day-to-day accounting and month-end close activities in accordance with US GAAP.
Manage and understand the corporate accounting close, including intercompany activities, allocations, and the consolidations process.
Analyze account information and ensures prompt and accurate data reconciliations.
Serve as the main point of contact for external and internal customers.
Prepare ad hoc reports and provides report data with status updates to CFO and Controller.
Oversee preparation of complex general ledger account reconciliations and analysis for receivable accounts as well as other accounts used to track sales and payment activity.
Identify, research, and evaluate activity for inaccuracies, and initiates adjustments as needed.
Manage monthly and year-end financial close process, including preparation and/or review of financial reports (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow) and various management reports.
Ensure review of the monthly close process including support for journal entries, proper general ledger account reconciliations, and analysis of results and unit profitability.
Create accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Other special projects and assignments as required.

Ensure compliance with internal controls as applicable to your function within the organization.
Maintain and develop accounting controls and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Ensure policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide assurance that the company assets are protected, and ensure the integrity of all aspects of firm wide accounting and financial.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify efficiency opportunities and ensure accurate and timely responses in line with business needs.
Identify and improve accounting operations inefficiencies and solutions to improve accounting
Optimize and streamline existing reporting and processes.
Partner cross-functionally to make improvements across all accounting process (automating reconciliations, reporting preparing and reviewing accounting transactions).
Supports the development and refinement of accounting systems and related controls.
Design and implement monthly accounting close processes.
Assesses productivity of existing shared service functions and identifies opportunities to enhance value.
Provide leadership, supervision, and support to the accounting.
Lead, develop, and motivate the Accounting Team.
Build strong relationships across the Firm, including with senior leaders and accounting team members.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Education Required : Bachelors Degree.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required.
Knowledge of SAP is required.
7-10 years accounting experience in leading an Accounting Function.
CPA, MBA or Master’s degree in Financial Accounting required.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office required, with Advanced Excel.
A strong attention to detail, along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the team and external customers. Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
Outstanding leadership, communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to be flexible.
Proficient user of accounting systems software.
Advanced analytic, strategic and problem-solving skills.

Position Description:
This role will lead and oversee a team who support the critical day to day transaction processing and general accounting functions such as month-end close, internal controls and management reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role will also oversee and ensure correct general ledger balances, general journal entries, month-end closing entries, and related account reconciliations. In addition, this role will provide activity analysis to management for assigned accounts and preparing required financial statement support to management and auditors.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 70%:
