      Expected pay for this position is $58.00 - $76.86/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.


      Overview

      POSITION SUMMARY:

      The Director of Accounting oversees all accounting operations and is responsible for the execution of effective, accurate, and efficient financial processes, including accounting, preparation of external and internal reporting, and management of the month-end close process. Works collaboratively and maintains strong relationships throughout OSF HealthCare.


      Qualifications

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business

      Experience:

      • 7 years of accounting experience which includes 2 years of public accounting experience.
      • 3 years of leadership experience
      • Successful completion of Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or Certified Managerial Accounting (CMA) exam.

      Other Skills/ Knowledge:

      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      Education:

      • Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business
