- Directs daily staff operations, including assigning tasks and monitoring both individual productivity and overall performance.
- Provides training on accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Manages staff hiring and termination processes.
- Oversees a team of 10-15 employees.
- Ensures strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Oversees all activities within the accounts payable function.
- Ensures timely submission of reports to the Treasury department.
- Manages the on-time processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
- Keeps accurate records of all payments and invoices.
- Reviews and reconciles the accounts payable register monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Ensures adherence to AP processes by the staff.
- Develops and manages a disbursement calendar to guarantee payment cycles are followed.
- Audits and reviews all check requests, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained.
- Assists the Controller in the development and implementation of various reports and analyses.
- Manages the processing and reconciliation of credit card payments.
- Monitors and replenishes petty cash as needed.
- Assists with the integration of newly acquired entities.
- Collaborates closely with the Controller to assess and communicate productivity and performance.
- Provides written analysis and recommendations to the Controller.
- Experienced with Great Plains and Mekorma.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in AP management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
