- Manage AR workflows to meet cash and aging goals across multiple campuses.
- Analyze AR data for trends and barriers; act as liaison for hospital departments and audits.
- Oversee collections, dispute resolution, insurance verification, and patient financial assistance processes.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and state laws like AB1455.
- Review refunds, write-offs, and adjustments; monitor staff performance and develop budgets.
- Implement workflow improvements and staff training to optimize collections and dispute results.
- Maintain professionalism and proactive approach; perform additional duties as assigned.
- 7-10 years of progressive AR management and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of registration, patient accounting, insurance billing, and California collection law.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access; effective communication skills.
- Understanding of hospital policies, instrumentation, quality control, and compliance standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Hospital Administration.
- Typing 35-45 WPM, 10-key skills, and math proficiency.
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City): must obtain within 30 days of hire if not already held.
