What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement litigation strategies aligned with departmental goals and objectives
- Provide mentorship and professional development for team members
- Oversee the management of litigation cases from initiation to resolution
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding litigation policies
- Evaluate legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate potential impacts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be actively licensed to practice law in at least one state and maintain necessary continuing legal education (CLE) requirements
- Minimum of ten years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury
- Prior management experience is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
