      Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

      Lead the creation and drive the execution of the assortment planning strategy across all Wholesale Accounts / Account clusters and across all categories, ensuring brand and channel KPI achievement to drive consumer experience and category development at point of sales, create account differentiation, foster sell in simplicity and achieve range efficiency and profitability.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Lead and manage assortment planning team to ensure the creation of assortment plans per account type/cluster/segmentation.
      • Create specific Wholesale Channel Assortment plans using historical data, market trends, competitor intel, global/market strategy and input collected from key stakeholders in market and local countries to fulfil the needs across the market.
      • Drive feedback sessions within Business Units (BU) and Range Architecture teams to ensure that Assortment Plans needs are reflected based on channel/segment needs.
      • Drive the collaboration with the Wholesale channel teams to attain optimal Assortment Plans for their accounts.
      • Streamline the market Wholesale range based on horizontal reviews at key milestones to enhance sell in process simplicity.
      • Drive market range enhancements through Assortment Planning to reflect product localization and differentiation in market range where needed (seasonality, account differentiation).
      • Drive performance and development culture, coaching and motivating the team, leading by example, to strengthen the team engagement.

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

      • Ability to implement strategy
      • Highly collaborative with strong presentation/communication, and negotiation skills, especially with senior stakeholders
      • High influencing skills
      • Distinct track record of success and high-level merchandising knowledge
      • Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. Marketing, Sales, etc.) and support functions (Finance preferred), as well as different organizational levels (Market-Local)
      • Strong industry knowledge, across divisions—footwear, apparel, and accessories—and across all BUs.
      • Expert understanding of markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment, and commercial needs.

      Requisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualifications:

      • University degree in business, ideally with Marketing and/or Sales focus or equivalent professional experience
      • Fluent in English
      • 8-10 years of experience in merchandising/product, marketing, sales/retail required
      • Sporting goods industry experience required
