Job Description
- Req#: 507036
- Work closely with the VP for Mission and Ministry in promoting the Mission of Rosemont College through events such as orientations and Heritage and Founders’ Weeks.
- Serve as an ambassador for the College as a Catholic institution guided by the educational principles of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.
- Plan liturgical celebrations and prepare liturgical ministers.
- Organize retreats, prayer groups, scripture study sessions, and other programs designed to engage members of the community in their own spiritual exploration.
- Develop programs that foster faith formation and honor the College’s rich diversity of cultures and religious traditions.
- Plan service opportunities including a Justice Immersion program during the Spring break.
- Provide leadership development opportunities for students.
- Organize and supervise student workers and Cornelian Scholars.
- Continue the College’s involvement in the leadership of SCHEAP (Synodality in Catholic Higher Education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia).
- Manage the Campus Ministry budget.
- Serve on College committees as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Possess a BA in theology, pastoral ministry, religious studies or related field.
- Practicing Roman Catholic.
- Recent experience in Campus Ministry required.
- Ability to work with others.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to produce accurate work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms.
- Competency with basic computer software, spreadsheets, Microsoft publisher, Canva and database programs in a Windows environment.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Possess a valid driver's license and able to pass the College's driver's examination.
- Able to drive a 15 passenger van.

Position Summary
The Campus Minister promotes the Catholic and SHCJ heritage of the College and fosters the spiritual growth and faith development of all members of the College. The Campus Minister is responsible for liturgical worship, spirituality programs, interfaith initiatives and service opportunities. This position requires a person who will engage with students across campus in order to develop programs that meet their needs.
