The director provides leadership and administrative oversight for all programs and services associated with the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) – currently inclusive of Student Media, the Gonzaga Student Body Association, SpikeNights, all clubs and organizations, and the transfer student lounge. The director is tasked with setting the strategic direction for the department, budgetary oversight, and leadership of an exemplary student activities program informed by Gonzaga’s Jesuit, Catholic, Humanistic Mission and the Student Affairs Division priorities of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Well-being & Flourishing, and an Integrated Approach to Student Learning and Development. Together with the professional, graduate, and undergraduate staff, this position guides all aspects of strategic initiatives, assessment, and key partnerships in service to the departmental mission. The director ensures that CSI programs adopt an anti-racist approach to best serve an increasingly diverse generation of Gonzaga students. This position supervises three staff positions within the Center for Student Involvement and the Assistant Director for Student Media. The director serves as the advisor for the Kennel Club and has involvement with all student clubs, student government, campus programming, and student media (including the Gonzaga Bulletin Newspaper, literary journals, and Spires Yearbook). This position reports to the Dean for Student Development and serves on the Student Affairs Department Leadership Team.
The budgeted annual salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $72,697 to $75,000 annually.
The internal full salary range is $66,960 – $100,440.About the company
