- Line management responsibility including performance management and competency development by coaching and guiding your team members and setting expectations and ambitious goals, ensuring the success of the team.
- Setting clear expectations and appropriate guidance on ‘what good looks like’ for the Change Management Office activities to build and develop Change Management competencies in a Clinical Drug Development setting and drive successful roll-out, implementation and adoption of major transformation initiatives within global Drug Development.
- Cross-functional leadership and partnership across the business for Clinical Development initiatives.
- Engaging with internal and external partners on new operating models, capabilities, and technologies.
- An academic degree in Organizational Behaviour, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 8+ years’ experience in change management including active involvement in change projects/ programmes, change communications, training and coaching, UX, behaviour design etc. as well as successfully applied agile methodology in previous projects.
- Solid leadership experience; setting direction, leading, motivating, and developing team members.
- Certification in change management and/ or pharma industry experience would be a great asset but not a prerequisite.
- Flair for digitalisation and basic knowledge of digital productivity tools.
- Fluency in written and oral English.

The position
In the role as Director of the Change Management Office you will have a combined people management role as well as an operational leadership role being responsible for managing a well-established department with focus on successful Organizational Change Management across our global organization. Your line management responsibilities will include heading up the current team of 7 Change Management professionals.

The job is based in Denmark, but the scope of work is global. You can expect some travelling abroad for meetings and stakeholder engagement.

About the department
The Change Management Office in Novo Nordisk headquarters (HQ) is anchored in Clinical Drug Development. Our key objective is to drive organizational change supporting strategic programs/initiatives which range from compliance, digitalization, process improvement, integrations, organizational changes etc. The work we do has the ability to impact every single patient enrolled in our clinical trials around the world, improve how physicians’ interface with Novo Nordisk and drive change for thousands of our colleagues who make the trials happen.The Change Management Office is very outreaching and strives continuously for alignment and synergies across other change functions including the new digital transformation offices. This involves close collaboration with all other skill areas in Clinical Drug Development, e.g. Trial Management, Data Management, Clinical Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Clinical Reporting, Medical & Science as well as with our Global Business Services in India, and our global Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) organisation.
You will be leading a high-energy, fun-loving team – each with their own amazing story and treasure chest of change experiences.
