      Job Summary

      Drives data and analytic strategy, development and implementation of complex data and analytic products to drive business decisions, customer/agent experience, profitability, and growth. Serve as an advisor and critical thought partner to Claims management within Claims Shared Services line of business.

      Essential Job Functions

      • Direct the development, coordination, and consolidation of the operational metrics for Claims Shared Services.
      • Coordinate with Claims Finance on the Claims monthly, quarterly, and budget review, variance analysis, and forecasting functions.
      • Direct activities related to financial and quantitative analysis on key drivers to identify risks and opportunities and develop plans and execute to deliver on mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
      • Develop reports, scorecard and analysis that provide insight for operational and strategic decision making.
      • Consults, manages, & executes on data efforts to understand data, analytics or data governance requirements and existing business processes to lead in design & development of data products.
      • Direct analysis on key Claims trends and coordinate findings with product management, finance, and actuarial functions.
      • Lead initiatives and special projects for Claims data & analytics and Claim leadership.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Physical Actions

      Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing, and lifting and/or carrying 10-lbs. maximum and seeing.

      Physical Environment

      Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.

      Education Requirements

      Bachelor's degree required.

      Experience Requirements

      Ten years’ experience in data & analytics within the insurance industry preferred.

      Special Skill Requirement

      Strong technical aptitude. Experience in SQL & Power BI preferre.

      • Farmers offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and location.

        o CO Only: $139,840 - $186,400
        o HI Only: $139,840 - $199,400
        o IL Only: $139,840 - $199,400
        o NY/ DC Only: $136,400 - $210,700
        o Albany County: $149,120 - $186,400
        o WA Only: $139,840 - $249,250
