      POSITION OVERVIEW:

      Responsible for overseeing, developing and managing all outpatient clinical operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Directs practice operations to ensure accomplishment of objectives of services in the ambulatory setting. Recommends practice objectives, develops and implements actions through short- and long-range planning in order to achieve and maintain growth. Continually evaluates practice strategies and plans to meet changing national, state and local needs. Receives direction from: Vice President Medical Group Operations.

      EDUCATION:

      • RN degree
      • Bachelor's degree

      EXPERIENCE:

      • Physician practice operational and management experience in outpatient and ambulatory setting.
      • Experience in the development and management of ambulatory programs preferred.

      LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

      • MT State RN License, if applicable

      KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

      • KNowledge of program growth and development.
      • Knowledge of the purposes, organization, and policies of the community's health systems.
      • Knowledge of the policies and procedures of healthcare operations.
      • Knowledge of the principles and practice of employee development.
      • KNowledge of computer programs and applications.
      • Knowledge of concept of organizational development/practice management.
      • Strong customer services skills.
      • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
      • Skills in analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action.
      • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, policy making bodies, third party payors, patients and the public.
      • Skills in exercising judgement and discretion in developing, applying, interpreting and coordinating departmental policies and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
