- Develop and grow the assigned client relationships through coordination of regular client pitching, working closely with global and regional corporate banking teams and product partners.
- Assess clients’ needs and work with product specialists to structure appropriate product solutions. Demonstrate to clients a full understanding of their needs
- Structuring appropriate financing solutions to help clients meet their growth targets – this would include credit, debt capital raising, leasing amongst others
- Drive solutions for the operating needs of clients across risk management, cash management, liquidity and treasury (e.g. sweeping and pooling structures), trade solutions, global markets/hedging
- Lead product partners to participate in business development and sales calls for marketing of BofA’s capabilities in market
- Monitor P&L performance of the portfolio assigned, show accountability for the portfolio, demonstrating ownership, growth and management of client relationships
- Collaborate with, and seek ongoing guidance, support & knowledge from the respective CBK country heads and other senior bankers
- Work with in-country / regional / global banking and credit teams to manage credit exposure, capital commitments & relationship returns. Liaise with Risk & Wholesale Credit partners to manage credit risk of the client portfolio with control and oversight on operational and compliance risk
- Be the escalation point for clients, proactively solving issues, and escalating as appropriate to ensure quick resolution of any issues
- Be an active stakeholder in the development of the CBKS North America business, generating ideas, taking ownership and demonstrating leadership as a banker
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking
- Fluency in Spanish is needed and Portuguese would be helpful
- Passionate about building client relationships and providing value-added insights to deepen client relationships
- Strong corporate finance skills with a broad knowledge of all corporate banking products, credit risk analysis and structuring
- Strong networking and collaboration skills to enable seamless coverage coordination across products and geographies
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with ESG, sustainability-linked solutions, and associated products.
- Ability to manage and develop junior resources
- Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred

Job Description
This role formally reports to Chris Impey, Global Head of Corporate Banking Subsidiaries with a dotted line for day to day activities to David Rossow, Managing Director US Corporate Banking Subsidiaries. This New York City based role will manage client relationships and develop solutions for a portfolio of US subsidiaries with parent companies predominantly headquartered in Latin America. This is a large portfolio of clients, with significant credit exposure and transactional banking needs - and is still growing quickly as clients prioritize investment into North America.
The role will focus on cross-selling all of the Bank’s corporate banking products including Cash and Liquidity Management, working capital and trade solutions (cards, supply chain finance, receivables financing), Credit/Loans, Leasing, Capital Markets, FX, Rates and Commodities.
