      Summary:

      In support of one of the world’s leading medical relief organizations, the Director, Corporate Engagement – Corporate Giving will play a central role in shaping and advancing Direct Relief’s corporate partnerships. Based at U.S. headquarters, the Director will work closely with global companies to build high-quality, meaningful interactions that bolster long-term relationships, engagement, and philanthropic investment.

      This position holds significant responsibility for revenue generation, strategic relationship management, and partnership implementation. The Director will lead efforts to align corporate giving with Direct Relief’s mission and partner CSR/ESG goals through grant funding, cause marketing, employee engagement, and co-branded initiatives. The Director will also oversee the Corporate Giving Operations Manager and ensure strong systems, materials, and processes are in place to support continued growth, efficiency, and visibility.

      Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Build and maintain relationships with key corporate contacts at all levels and across departments to advance strategic partnerships
      • Cultivate, manage, and grow relationships with both new and existing corporate partners, ensuring long-term engagement and alignment with Direct Relief’s mission.
      • Leverage personal and professional networks to raise awareness of Direct Relief and identify new corporate partnership opportunities.
      • Initiate and implement innovative fundraising strategies to generate new revenue streams and deliver added value to corporate partners.
      • Develop compelling, well-designed presentations and proposals that reflect shared goals, values, and measurable outcomes.
      • Support the Corporate Engagement team’s partner-facing marketing and campaign strategy, including co-branded initiatives, storytelling, visibility, and content development tailored to corporate audiences.
      • Collaborate with internal teams to develop communications strategies and visibility plans that elevate corporate partnerships and promote shared success.
      • Support and execute strategies across the corporate giving pipeline- including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship- to meet fundraising and organizational goals
      • Clearly and confidently articulate Direct Relief’s programs and impact to corporate stakeholders, including C-suite audiences, in both one-on-one and public-facing settings.
      • Research and identify the CSR / ESG goals, priorities, and funding strategies of prospective and current corporate donors to inform partnership approaches.
      • Design and manage engagement strategies across multiple giving mechanisms, including corporate foundation grants, cause marketing, employee engagement, , sponsorships, and customer fundraising campaigns.
      • Analyze donor interests to craft compelling fundraising campaigns, engagement plans, and stewardship efforts tailored to corporate priorities.
      • Represent Direct Relief in corporate meetings, conferences, and external events to expand visibility and deepen institutional relationships.
      • Develop and manage multi-year strategic corporate partnerships that align with organizational priorities and funding objectives.
      • Negotiate partnership terms and agreements in coordination with Legal and other relevant departments.
      • Supervise and mentor the Corporate Giving Operations Manager, ensuring strong operational systems, high-quality deliverables, and continuous improvement across processes and tools.
      • Monitor and improve operational systems related to proposals, CRM records, gift documentation, stewardship materials, and reporting.
      • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Programs, and other internal teams to ensure efficient cross-departmental coordination and accurate reporting.
      • Contribute to departmental planning, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives, as needed.
      • Other duties will be assigned as deemed appropriate for the position.
      • Oversee internal documentation and administrative functions, including tracking activity, generating reports, and analyzing partnership performance using Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce and other systems
      • Perform all responsibilities with fiscal responsibility and professionalism

      Qualification, Knowledge, and Skills:

      • Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of experience in industry, business development / marketing / sales, corporate relations, or related experience
      • Fluency in English is required
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multifunctional team.
      • Ability to work and interact with multiple senior-level external stakeholders
      • Ability to manage multiple competing interests/ tasks and prioritize accordingly
      • Cross cultural leadership ability with excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Capable / comfortable with public speaking and representing DR in public settings
      • Ability to command confidence and respect of an audience
      • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be detailed and task oriented
      • Proficient with computers and standard software applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with SAP, Salesforce and Razors Edge a plus
      • Experience in report generation and analysis of outcomes

      Physical Requirements

      • Ability to travel via automobile, train, or airplane sometimes on short notice.
      • Must pass (clear) toxicology and background screening.

      Compensation and Benefits

      • Salary range: $95,000-$120,000, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

      • Retirement Plan, employer matches up to 6%
