      WHAT YOU’LL DO

      The Director, Corps Program & Leadership Experiences role is primarily responsible for project managing the instructional design, staff training, cultural, and communication efforts of enterprise-wide individual and collective leadership development experiences throughout the corps member journey. You define the strategy for project management to support year-over-year design efforts and partner with internal teams to ensure strong access to materials and sessions via our digital learning platform. This role will also design a culture plan for the corps experience, particularly during Pre-Service, executed in centralized and localized spaces. This role will partner with our internal marketing and communications team, our internal design teams, and internal participant operations teams to ensure that our corps members have a strong digital and cultural experience during key moments and have access to high-quality materials via our digital learning platform.

      In addition, this role partners closely with the D, Communications on the Participant Operations team to ensure incoming corps members have access to accurate, timely, and high-quality communications regarding Pre-Service during both matriculation and Pre-Service.

      The ideal candidate will be detail-driven, customer-oriented, and organized, excelling as a self-starter and executor. You are excited to work collaboratively on a team to create engaging and accessible content that places the user at the center of the learning experience. You get energy from being in the details and getting them perfect.

      WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

      • Devise strategies for strong project management across different teams for year-over-year design efforts; Work as the lead builder for finalized Pre-Service content

      • Support culture and communication needs related to Pre-Service, including updating the Pre-Service Homeroom page, communication systems for corps members and staff, and the packaging and publishing of content on Teach For America’s Learning Management System, Docebo

      • Developing a corps member culture plan and school site operations plan templates for practicum in partnership with operations team, inclusive of a strategy for welcome kits for staff and CMs

      • Operate flexibly to lend skills and capacity to meet the needs of emerging projects or priorities as they arise

      As a member of the CM and Alumni Leadership Development team, you can expect that every week will be just a bit different; there is no one “week in the life!” Given the specific projects you may be working on, whether team-specific or enterprise-wide, you’ll be spending your time building and strengthening relationships, setting vision and direction, planning, executing, problem-solving, and engaging in ongoing learning and growth. You can also expect to collaborate closely and frequently with other teams. As a member of the Corps Program & Leadership Experiences team, your weeks will be focused on setting strategy, designing, and implementing excellent programming for critical corps members milestones.

      YOUR EXPERIENCE

      • 4+ years of aligned experience

      • Experience with project management and demonstrated track record of working across teams getting results through others required

      • Experience designing with course authoring tools (especially Articulate Rise and Storyline)

      • Experience using and managing a Learning Management System (especially Docebo)

      • Experience and expertise in adult learning and designing and facilitating effective learning experiences

      • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) to a variety of different audiences in a variety of formats

      • Exemplary interpersonal and relationship-building skills across lines of difference, particularly in situations demanding clear communication of priorities and/or quick consensus-building

      • Exceptional critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

      • Desire to constantly learn and improve; review and make improvements to programmatic offerings based on feedback and lessons learned and quantitative and qualitative data.

      • Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic organizational environments, developing strong internal and external relationships

      • Ability to influence and motivate others laterally, and across other functional teams

      • Some evening and weekend meetings, facilitation, and communication

      • Plan and set up events, provide logistical support for various events

      • Some light travel for team retreats, CM events, etc

      • Working with colleagues who are based all over the country – using remote technologies

      The Teach For America Corps Member and Alumni Leadership Development team is charged with defining the type of systems-change leadership required to reach “One Day” and how to best develop that leadership first through teaching, and then through school and/or school system leadership for those who choose that path.       The Corps Program & Leadership Experiences team is responsible for setting strategies, planning, implementing, and evolving excellent programming across the participant journey, working in partnership across the enterprise. Additionally, this team stewards the development of new, innovative key milestones across the corps member journey. These programs develop unifying full corps experiences and prepare participants with the pedagogical and leadership skills needed to lead and achieve impact.

      YOUR COMPENSATION

      The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.

      Tier A: $67,500-101,100

      Tier B: $73,600-110,200

      Tier C: $79,700-119,400
