      Director, Data Analytics & Reporting

      Department: Data Services

      Primary Function:

      This position is responsible for oversight and management of Asembia’s Data Analytics & Reporting Team in collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and trending data (primarily from pharmacies and pharmacy systems) to support Asembia’s data programs and service solutions. This position will work in conjunction with Asembia’s IT team members and act as a business partner with Executive Management to ensure processes and procedures are implemented and streamlined accordingly. This position will require the expertise needed to mentor and guide team member s in data analysis and business intelligence, using various data analysis tools to perform and optimize data aggregation and trend analysis. The incumbent must work with pharmaceutical partners to understand their program objectives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data-driven insights with business goals and strategies.

      Job Scope and Major Responsibilities:

      • Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day execution of data analytics & reporting team . Lead and mentor team of data analysts, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables. Conduct performance reviews, provide guidance on industry best practices, and maintain adequate staffing. Provide hands on support by creating , review ing , and optimiz ing SQL queries and stored procedures to automate data reporting.
      • Process Ownership: Review, document, improve, and drive execution of data delivery processes including ingestion, automation, visualization, trending, forecasting. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data gaps. Create and maintain standardized and program-specific data visualizations solutions to identify reporting gaps, view actionable trends, and assess data quality.
      • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives using proprietary and off-the-shelf solutions. Ensure team is effectively communicating and addressing client and business needs timely and consistently. Provide weekly program summary to supervisor on status of current programs, short- and long-term risk mitigation solutions, and innovation roadmap progress.
      • Data Account Executive: Serve as the subject matter expert for team including high-impact presence in meetings with prospective and current customers, participation in RFPs, and contract review.
      • Data Protection: Ensure team adherence and maintenance of policies are procedures. Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA/HITECH compliance at all times . Establish appropriate checks and balances in data process .
      • Other responsibilities as assigned

      Performance Criteria:

      Performance in this role is measured by successful implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of data processes which lead to pharmaceutical program optimization.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree and relevant education in software development, statistics, information science, or business; MBA is a plus
      • Minimum of 3 years' experience in pharmacy data aggregation, pharmacy operations, pharmacy analytics
      • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a supervisor managing direct reports
      • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI , and SQL ; PowerPoint is a plus.
      • Exemplary communication, organization, time management, and leadership skills
      • Strong client-facing skills with experience presenting to C-suite
      • Must be able to work onsite five days per week
      • Comfortable in a face-paced environment with ability to manage multiple high priority projects and clients
