Contribute to the development of the data science framework including but not limited to: Building new models, defining infrastructure strategy, and being a highly visible champion of Advanced Solutions - 20%
Build and maintain relationships with campus partners, develop a deep understanding of problems, present solutions - 20%
Understand business strategies and problems, translate to Data Science approaches, select / run / validate Analytics, and drive understanding and action from model insights across all levels of organization – tech teams, business teams, senior management. Lead team to deliver Data Science and Analytics initiatives successfully - 20%
Act as a mentor for a team of Business intelligence Analysts fostering an environment of analytical excellence as well as helping to upskill internal talent - 20%
Balance multiple complex projects delivering to many stakeholders – effectively prioritize initiatives and resources to maximize value - 20%
Director, Data Science and Growth
Office of Analytics
Exempt, Regular, Full Time, Pay Grade 4.4
Location: Remote
The Director, Data Science and Growth will report to the VP of Analytics and be responsible for building and maintaining solutions involving predictive modeling. In addition, this roll will work closely with the teams that drive growth including but not limited to Marketing, Student Affairs, and GMO in order to help implement and test initiatives aimed at driving growth.
Primary Duties:
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning Statistics, Mathematics, or the related field.
Experience: 5 to 7 years related experience.
Supervisory: 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Well versed in R, Python, SQL
Preferred Education and Experience
Masters or other post-graduate education in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Experience: 5 to 7 years related experience.
Supervisory: 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience.
