      The Opportunity

      Reporting to the Senior Director of Deposit Operations Strategy & Support, the Director of Strategy Support Deposit Operations will be responsible for leading Deposit Operations routines as well as tracking items through Invest & Deposits ‘I&D’ Governance routines with the I+D Product and Strategy team, partnering with Deposit Operations Leadership, Finance, and I+D business support teams (Technology BILD, Digital & Architecture) for business, strategic, and financial planning. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising financial business impacts associated with the full Deposit Operations organization in collaboration with Finance and Deposit Operations senior leadership teams. You will also develop and circulate broad employee facing announcements and internal only communications. To be successful, this role requires trust, collaboration, understanding of business operations and objectives, strategic thinking, initiative, innovation, and an ability to lead change through influence.

      The Work Itself

      • Bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills (personal, written and presentation) and work cross-functionally with business and support partners
      • Ownership of end-to-end creation of materials for DO management routines and input as required for DO as it relates to the broader I+D team (MBR, Objective setting, Engagement, Strategic + Financial Planning etc.)
      • Collaborate with peers and demonstrate partnership through standard methodology and best practice sharing
      • Partner with the I+D Product and Strategy team to shepherd topics through DO governance routines as appropriate
      • Serve as primary point of contact between Deposit Operations and key partner groups including Finance, HR, Learning & Development, Business Line Risk, and Invest+Deposits business support teams to name a few
      • Partner with key stakeholders to support financial forecast inputs, budget tracking, business cases, and funding requests
      • Oversee associate onboarding, transfers, offboarding, and headcount tracking
      • Ownership of employee-facing communication for Deposit Operations, both routine and ad hoc
      • Identify problem areas, capture key action items, and drive issues to resolution as required; escalate when necessary
      • Drive continuous process improvement; consistently push for efficiency gains
      • Be a culture leader for Deposit Operations, deepening and broadening the existing framework, leading cross divisional team with clearly defined roles to deepen the culture in Deposit Operations with core team and support partners
      • Bring focus on DE&I, partnering with Financial and Social Inclusion

      The Skills You Bring

      • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Operational project management with an emphasis on corporate strategy
      • Vendor Management experience required
      • Demonstrable experience in risk management and governance programs (e.g. key risk indicators, self-assessments, etc.) and their relevance/applicability across business operations highly recommended
      • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) strongly preferred
      • Lean Six Sigma Training strongly preferred
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills / Strong ability to cross-functional at all levels of the organization to get results
      • Balance of critical thinking, operations, and risk mentality
      • Proven ability to lead large groups of individuals and gather consensus in a highly matrixed organization.
      • Experience in proactively developing and leading strategic partnerships with internal and external partners and executive collaborators
      • Strong critical thinking skills: ability to work with sophisticated concepts
      • Must be meticulous and analytical in nature

      Base Pay Range : $125000 - $190000 USD
      An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications.       Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
