- Demonstrated professional experience in public or private sector property development of transactions with a minimum $100M value.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and manage a team of multi-disciplinary specialists, facilitate their ongoing professional development, maximise on their performance to deliver diverse and complex operational services.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across all levels of stakeholders.
- Appropriate Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.

In this role, you will
Join the Property & Place Division of Sydney Metro covering Metro West program, a new 24 km underground metro running from Westmead through into Hunter Street which includes nine new stations, stabling and maintenance facility and precast yards. It is a complex project, with significant stakeholders and unique challenges, connecting the Central River City to the heart of Sydney CBD. It is a once in a generation, city shaping project which will change how people live and work in Sydney.
In this critical role reporting into the Director, Property and being part of the Sydney Metro West Leadership team, you will lead the development and management of property transactions and operational improvements to the Branch to expand on the infrastructure outcomes for our stakeholders, transport customers and communities. The Metro West projects include a range of opportunities to divest to, or joint venture with private sector to maximise divestment values for projects with an end value of over $7bn in both CBD locations, as well as suburban and brown field opportunities. As such, the role also includes input into divestment strategies and commercial outcomes.
You will also provide effective management of the transactions team to effectively deliver property transactions that enhance value and utilisation of government owned property including managing and coordinating value-add such as subdivision, lot creation, clearances, transport outcomes, rezoning and placemaking outcomes for the community.
There are two full-time fixed term for 18 month, Transport Senior Service Executive TSSE1A level roles offering an attractive remuneration package.
