Lead quality development and compliance

Directing strategies to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal requirements – securing license to operate, simplicity and quality in deliverables

Ensure continued improvement in the quality of our processes and the way we operate, striving for simplicity and transparency in the entire value chain and organisation

Secure that relevant procedures are in place and that staff are trained effectively and are sufficiently qualified for their tasks.

Master’s degree in computer science or IT Engineering – potentially in combination with business administration communications or similar

Proven track record of successfully building digital capabilities within an organization, specifically digital product management
-
+10 years of professional experience in strategy and / or consulting in the space of IT or digitalisation

Strong understanding of how organizations operate, including their culture, politics, and dynamics.

Proficient in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate collaboration and achieve strategic objectives.

Experience leader, able to inspire, motivate and set a clear direction for change

The position
The Director of Digital Capability Building in the Development Digital Transformation Enablement department will build a small team of direct and a mid-sized team of indirect reports. The main responsibilities include defining the essential digital, data, and transformation skills needed now and going forward, along with the corresponding roles, job levels, and career paths. The role is accountable to define and deliver trainings, coaching, inspirational events, and talent acquisition- and retention strategy & tactics, collaborating across functions, SVP- and EVP-areas.
The key focus at this point of our mission is to build world-class digital product management capabilities.
As a leader, the Director is also responsible for managing their team in accordance with Novo Nordisk's principles, as well as adhering to health and safety guidelines.
In this position, you'll be expected to work independently, following Novo Nordisk's Standard Operating Procedures and Quality framework, while also aligning with the company's development strategy. You'll need to complete all tasks outlined in the job description plus ad-hoc assignments.

A background in pharmaceuticals organisation would be considered as a plus, but not required.

About the department
The Digital Transformation area in Development is a newly created CVP-area of app. 30 people setting strategic direction, coordinating, catalysing and governing our Digital Transformation across the Development organisation. In collaboration with digital teams in SVP areas across Development, we identify new opportunities for utilising data and digital solutions for the benefit of patients as well as our organisation. Focussing on end customers with constant curiosity, we manage prioritization and execution of digital activities.
