      BMG’s digitally-focused Marketing department is an award-winning global team that operates at the forefront of artist campaigns. They offer expert insights into social media, audience development, online advertising, CRM, global activations and innovative marketing strategies. This team is interconnected with our advertising and technology teams, as well as BMG’s campaign, sales and analytics teams, while also working closely with artists and tech partners.

      A s the head of the US and LATAM catalog digital marketing team, your primary mission is to provide leadership in seasonal and trend-based campaigns, social media, online advertising, audience and fanbase development, CRM, and online activations. Your role involves managing the team, setting priorities, and engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners to create opportunities and contribute to long-term digital growth for BMG. You should have a love for iconic music catalogs and a deep understanding of the history of rock, hip-hop, pop, RnB and more.

      What You’ll Be Doing.

      • Serving as a strategic digital marketing leader for catalog recorded music.
      • Enthusiastically leading and developing a growing team.
      • Proactively implementing a seasonal and trend-based campaign approach across multiple platforms.
      • Drawing on your experience with social media, connected platform strategy and innovation, including social gaming and new tech, to lead your team to success.
      • Driving individual campaign successes and holistic territory thinking and planning.
      • Overseeing website and landing page management, including GDPR and data protection compliance.
      • Managing the tools and systems BMG has available for digital marketing.
      • Serving as the point of escalation for artists, their management and internal stakeholders for catalog projects.
      • Collaborating and integrating with campaign managers, advertising and streaming colleagues.

      Must-Haves.

      • Expertise in digital marketing, with a focus on social media, audience development, and digital activations.
      • Extensive experience in campaign management and marketing within the music industry.
      • Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team.
      • Proven track record in departmental management.
      • Successful previous experience managing partner relationships, including pitching and CMS experience, across Meta platforms, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit and other connected platforms.
      • Proficiency with CRM, data capture, fan to fan, and direct to fan marketing, including data protection compliance.
      • Sound business acumen, including an understanding of budgeting and revenue streams.
      • Demonstrated passion for catalog projects across diverse music genres, including: rock, hip-hop, pop, dance, etc.

      • Extensive experience working with high-profile artists and an understanding of large fanbases.
      • Digital marketing, marketing or platform-specific qualifications.
      • Knowledge of technology and a keen understanding of emerging trends.
      • An analytical mindset with a strong grasp of data and statistics.
      • Established key account relationships with relevant partners.

      Pay Range

      $85,000 – $110,000 per annum

      The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
