Salary Range$106,298.40 to $135,000.00
Director, Digital Strategy is responsible for understanding the marketing goals of Melwood internal clients and leveraging their expertise to develop comprehensive digital web strategies aimed at meeting these objectives. The ideal candidate thrives on collaborating with clients to shape innovative solutions and possesses the ability to guide cross-functional teams in executing these strategies.
Duties include, but not limited to:
1. Lead digital management and strategy across key digital platforms including websites and social media, ensuring alignment with organizational value propositions, business and advocacy goals.
2. Develop, evaluate, and manage digital marketing plans, such as customer acquisition, donor outreach, budget performance, and deliverables.
3. Manage and review Melwood’s web presence and online identity, including websites of Melwood divisions, Camp Accomplish, and other affiliates as needed. Work with Melwood Information Systems Group to manage user experience across platforms, assisting with problem resolution.
4. Create, manage and maintain standard operating procedures for web content updates and requests from internal Melwood departments.
5. Own digital marketing metrics and key performance indicators, presenting results to leadership and recommending solutions.
6. Collaborate and create content in partnership with Director, Communications, to include social media, video projects, and other creative forms of brand support for the social enterprise.
7. Train senior leadership on best practices for engagement and strategy in digital spaces.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Work Experience:
Minimum 8 to 10 years overall marketing experience with 3 to 5 years in digital marketing. A demonstrated track record of coordinating and producing strategic communications and marketing deliverables. Strong knowledge of communications best practices and emerging digital strategies. Strong demonstrated writing ability. Able to multitask on several tasks simultaneously while serving as a meaningful resource to all Melwood departments. Knowledge of Section 508 and accessibility standards helpful.
