- Provide technical expertise of Electronic Data Capture systems (e.g. RAVE, RSG, etc) to optimize performance, grow automation, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance
- Ensure all systems are in a state of readiness to meet protocol and program demands, and are inspection ready at all times
- Set vision, strategic direction, and annual goals while progressively tracking results against expectations
- Lead decision-making process on technology and service selections
- Set priorities to meet global development operations success as a Leader and an active member of the Programming, Analytics, & Solutions Leadership Team and
- Focus on mentoring and coaching staff to build the best talent and team as a people leader
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life science, computer science, business administration or related field
- Distinguished expert in EDC and related technologies
- 12+ years of clinical development technologies or information sciences or data informatics experience.
- Extensive work experience in life sciences, medical information systems
- Broad biopharmaceutical clinical research experience (clinical research experience obtained working on clinical trials at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company)
- Previous line management experience and deep experience working with technology providers.
- Seasoned expertise designing and deploying integrations including those using web services.
- Extensive experience in technologies within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech arena
- Broad experience of working in a global organization
- Previous experience at or oversight of outside clinical research vendors (CRO’s, central labs, imaging vendors, etc)

What you will do
In this vital role you will responsible for the management of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platform & operations including incoming and outgoing data and system integrations with other business critical systems, exploring new technical capabilities in the area of EDC, EDC data integration with other systems/processes, and acquiring digital assets and systems from expansion activities (e.g. acquisitions or other business development activities).
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 4 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above.Preferred Qualifications
