      This role has significant exposure to European senior management and the corporate head office in the U.S. This is a challenging and versatile position that gives the right candidate the opportunity to gain exposure to many financial and non-financial disciplines in the company. The geographical scope of the role is Europe (12 countries) and business scope is Energy (Solar, battery storage, energy supply).

      What’s needed in order to do that.

      Leadership

      • Oversee the finance function for the Prologis’ energy and mobility business in Europe, working with internal and external stakeholders to drive the business forward
      • Manage and own all finance activities effectively, fostering a results-oriented environment
      • Build and maintain respect within the organization as a knowledgeable and respected senior leader within the region and business

      Underwritings

      • Oversee, review and validate all underwritings for energy projects in Europe
      • In close collaboration with business leaders and Prologis corporate functions, adjust proforma models and their assumptions on a regular basis to align with business and macroeconomic evolutions.
      • Ensure alignment of Energy projects risks and profitability with Investment committee decisions

      Business Performance, Strategic Planning and Business Partnering

      • Partner with business leaders to define strategic objectives and execution road maps for Energy divisions.
      • Lead multi years business plan, quarterly rolling forecasts and monthly performance reviews in close connection with Prologis finance local teams in Europe, and with Energy and Mobility finance team.
      • Monitor and challenge implementation of growth initiatives, structural & tactical costs savings actions.
      • Ensure continuous alignment between finance forecasts and Asset management tracking tools

      Data and systems

      • Participate actively to the design and implementation of all IT tools and processes for financial performance measurement, invoicing and cash collection, in coordination with real estate teams
      • Be the owner of data bases for example existing rooftops solar systems

      Risk Management

      • Build up risk scenarios and mitigation regarding forecasts, strategic plan or regarding business decisions and their underlying financial model
      • Partner with sales and execution teams to structure offers and contracts for complex projects

      Tell us if you’re ready.

      • University education, Master degree or MBA, Engineer or Business School, with a specialization in Finance
      • Practical and successful experience as a FP&A or finance director, strong experience in project controlling
      • Experience in energy, specifically solar and/or other renewables a strong preference
      • At ease in multi-cultural environment
      • Knowledge of long-term contracts / capital intensive businesses
      • IFRS standards (esp 9, 15 &16)
      • Experience in Project financing appreciated
      • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
