      Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. Some remote opportunities are available within specific departments.       JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the show quality, guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, financial results and safety for all Entertainment Operations. Responsible for directing and developing the Entertainment Operations’ teams assigned to the Business Unit.

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Responsible for strategically planning and directing Entertainment Operations resulting in a seamless and exemplary guest experience. Including but not limited to maintaining show quality, generating show schedules, pitching new offerings, participating in new production development and improving existing shows and characters.
      • Makes decisions and creates action plans that will positively impact Team Member Satisfaction at all levels of the Department. Partners with Human Resources and Department Management to respond to all issues and concerns in a timely manner and to resolution.
      • Partners with Finance and Department Management to develop the budgets and adjust program as necessary to control costs while maintaining TSATs, GSATs and Safety standards.
      • Responsible for effectively communicating necessary information which pertains to the Entertainment Operation to all impacted parties including but not limited to: Entertainment team members, Divisional department heads, Senior Leadership and third-party vendors.
      • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

      EXPERIENCE:

      • 5+ Years: Management experience in professional theater, theme park, industrial/corporate entertainment or hospitality.
      • College degree preferred but not required with experience taken into consideration.
      • Well rounded experience in all areas of entertainment inclusive of but not limited to performance, technical, contracting, project management, team leadership;
      • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
