- Support the development and implementation for External Contract Manufacturing (ECM) execution and strategy resulting in key business growth and significant cost savings.
- Serve as liaison between company and External Contract Manufacturer network.
- Provide oversight to the manufacturing, quality and development of products performed ECM’s
- Partner with contract manufacturers to ensure quality, delivery and cost meet or exceed Baxter’s expectations.
- Develop and sustain ECM strategy to be used internally and externally.
- Assess capabilities and build business models to justify and expand External Contract Manufacturing services.
- Partner with PSM and Strategy functions to develop manufacturing and capacity strategies that are consistent with the current and future marketing strategies (short and long term).
- Work with marketing teams on building operational capabilities for new trends and products.
- Support quality investigations and non-conformances by providing appropriate product expertise.
- Support Due Diligence evaluations of potential BD Target organizations
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 10 plus years of Medical Device / Pharmaceutical / Biologics industry experience working with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality required.
- Technical knowledge including: cGMP-Regulations and Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control and Assurance, and Operations.
- Ability to develop and manage partnerships.
- Ability to drive and sustain transformational change.
- Preferred position is based in a home office (travel as needed in region). Candidate can reside in the Poland, Malta, or the United Kingdom.
