      Reporting into the General Manager, the Director, Finance will partner with various functions of our business, providing timely financial insights in a collaborative environment. The Director, Finance will have direct influence and impact on the strategic financial decisions within the business unit, including pricing, new product feasibility, ongoing project profitability, budget creation, customer profitability and management reporting. The business this role will sit in operates in Canada and the US under the Trapeze North America brand.       Job Description:

      Responsibilities

      • Monitor and input on key metrics of individual customer contracts
      • Monitor and enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
      • Ownership of ‘Quarterly Strategic Review’ (QSR) process, considering sales pipeline and costs analysis to prepare a robust forecast, WIP and Professional Services oversight
      • Ensure execution of action points from the QSR review process
      • Accountable for accurate and timely monthly/quarterly consolidated financial reporting to ensure compliance of internal and external reporting and requirements in accordance with IFRS
      • Responsible for working with the business to assess market pricing, new deal pricing, and sales approach for our products.
      • Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to the Executive Team, Senior Management and Modaxo
      • Lead financial analysis over any new product initiatives which would include cost assessment, revenue forecasts and overall lifetime profitability
      • Become an expert in the company’s forecasting tool, Adaptive Insights, and knowledgeable in the company’s other key tools such as OpenAir (project management), SalesForce and Great Plains.
      • Work closely with all functional leads to ensure projects bids and contract terms, financial and otherwise, adhere to corporate parameters

      Qualifications

      • Excellent with Microsoft Excel
      • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
      • High integrity and personal ethics due to sensitive issues and information this role entails
      • Desire to improve processes and systems rather than just keep the status quo
      • Strong communication skills to work across time zones and cultural differences
      • Well organized, detail-oriented and able to work variable hours when required
      • Desire to support a culture of continuous learning
      • Energetic, personable and results oriented
      • A “can-do” attitude taking ownership; prepared to be held accountable for actions, behaviors and targets
      • North American travel will be required (up to 25%).

      BENEFICIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

      • CPA
      • Thorough understanding of IFRS for software (specifically IFRS 15)
      • Experience Adaptive, OpenAir, Great Plains is an asset
