      JOB SUMMARY

      The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for all projections/forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, and variance analysis for shared services and holding company. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will be involved in strategic decision making, provide thought leadership, and act as a liaison between clinic operations, JV operations and ACP (corporate), regarding financial, operational, and cross-functional information and analysis. They will maintain existing forecasting/budgeting/reporting models and reports and develop additional reporting/modeling capabilities to enhance the level of analysis, degree of efficiency, and overall visibility into the business provided by the FP&A team to both management, private equity owners, and the Board of Directors. This person must be process oriented with a drive to always be improving and innovating. The Director, FP&A is expected to function independently with minimal oversight.

      Education

      Bachelor's Degree in related discipline required

      • MBA or equivalent preferred

      Work Experience

      • 5+ years of management experience required
      • 10+ years of related progressive finance experience, inclusive of 1 year experience with transformational reorgs and/or acquisition/integration
      • Multi-facility and/or Healthcare experience preferred

      Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: must have significant experience in building, maintaining and improving financial and operational models, as well as one-off ad hoc analysis. Experience working with large data sets.

      Executive Presentation Expertise (utilizing PowerPoint or similar): ability to produce unique and ongoing materials for board meetings with private equity owners, JV partners, executive team, and external third parties. Strong attention to detail and minimal feedback needed with regard to formatting, structure, wording, etc.

      Cross Functional Leadership Experience and Strength: must have varied experience working as a key player or leader of cross functional projects or teams related to driving change.

      3-Statement Modeling: understanding of and ability to produce three statement financial models with experience and understanding of the balance sheet and cash flow statement.

      Commitment to Excellence and Attention to Detail: pride in work product with focus on messaging, aesthetics, verbiage, etc. Ability to adapt to changing asks/requirements

      Collaborate with Operators across various markets and partnerships to collect information, share best practices across, develop training plans/support materials, and capture data to track and monitor progress, and drive consistency across the company

      Essential Functions

      Responsibilities include:

      Manage Senior FP&A Manager and financial analyst(s) to analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, patient care costs, indirect expenses, and capital expenditures. Develop additional materials/outputs/analysis as business needs arise (independently).

      Produce, improve and automate existing monthly reporting, including the analysis and explanation of variances and trends, determining appropriate messaging for all stakeholders including operators, executive management, and BOD.

      Manage the forecasting and budgeting of revenue, shared services expenses, and capital expenditures including cross-functional support functions/needs. Delegate responsibilities to team members accordingly, provide review, coaching and support on an ongoing basis. Responsible for all final outputs. Expected to review and sign-off on all materials and provide thought leadership and support/challenge different thesis in order to arrive at a more informed/collaborative outcome.

      Manage timing and deliverables. Self-disciplined to meet deadlines, inform leadership of upcoming meetings/needs, overall management of the shared services and consolidated reporting

      Development of new reporting, planning, and forecasting models and tools as needs arise, driven by executive management, operations, and BOD

      Ad hoc reporting, analysis, and projects (working with cross functional stakeholders as the key finance point of contact)

      Responsible for working with the business development team to refine assumptions, valuations, and integration plans/strategies. Ability to maintain professional confidentiality.

      Lead the preparation of presentations for management and the Board of Directors on a monthly basis. Review and provide commentary and feedback to direct reports on materials, such that minimal edits are required by leadership.

      Identify problem areas in the P&L and work collaboratively with accounting and/or operations to propose solutions, monitor progress and publish results. Collaborate across functions and markets in order to maximize impact and share new learnings.

      Act as the key point of contact for private equity owners reporting and analysis needs

      Work with various functions (including accounting, payroll, revenue cycle, IT, etc.) to provide accurate and meaningful analysis and data, as needed.

      Translate financial and operational information into business terms and implications; produce clear, understandable communications geared for all audiences.
