      The GEICO Financial Systems support team, which supports the Office of the CFO, seeks an exceptional FinTech professional to spearhead the establishment of an innovative financials transformation team. As the Director, Financial Transformation, you have a proven track record of successfully delivering results and developing teams that consistently excel. This is an amazing opportunity to build a new team collaborating closely with the Senior Director to shape an overarching strategy for financials data and processes.

      Responsibilities

      • Define and manage the work and projects for financial data and transformation by managing interactions and relationships with multiple departments in the review of current processing, identification of pain points and potential efficiencies, and development of solution proposals

      • Work with system support teams to define and document requirements for technology solutions, and support all corresponding change management, documentation and training as required

      • Collaborate with various levels of management to define data and reporting needs, analyze solution options and propose go forward plans to execution; ensure data and process solutions meet the requirements of all internal controls and expectations for compliance and reporting; and study future business needs and work with system design experts in developing system and improvement plans

      • Manage and support vendor relationships as required and the team, including hiring, performance and merit reviews and team mentoring and guidance

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems (or equivalent with specific relevant experience)

      • Minimum of 8 years of team and project leadership experience in program management and transformation of financial systems

      • Experience with Workday Financials or comparable ERP solution preferred

      • Solution and detailed focused with the ability to work independently given general direction and also thrive in a team environment that is constantly changing
