- Providing strategic leadership to drive industry leading fleet and site emergency preparedness programs.
- Represents Vistra Corp. with external industry organizations, key community organizations, and governmental agencies.
- Provides nuclear interface with Vistra Corporate internal stakeholders.
- Provides leadership to industry working groups in the areas of Emergency Preparedness and Performance Improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of skills/experience
- 10+ years' experience in Emergency Preparedness and/or Performance Improvement.
- 5+ years' experience in commercial nuclear setting.
- SRO License (former/current) or SRO/MGMT Cert. or combination of skills/experience in nuclear operations.
- Progressive experience in supervisory roles.
- Strong quantitative skills and business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Station performance in key metrics.
- Technical competence in the corrective action program.
- Driving force in team performance.
- Identification and resolution of cross-functional gaps.
- Results Orientation.

Job Summary
The Fleet Director, Nuclear Emergency Preparedness provides oversight and support of station Emergency Preparedness Programs to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective fleet operations.
In this role, the director will partner with nuclear site leaders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and maintain compliance with 10 CFR 50.47 and other applicable regulations. The Director is also accountable to foster relationships with offsite response organizations, ensuring local and state radiological response capabilities.
This role can be based at any of our nuclear sites in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.Job Description
