Lead the planning product release plans and sets expectations for delivery of new functionalities
Overall project management including but not limited to prioritization, overseeing test plans, approach for each release, documentation etc.
Validate technical approach, ensuring it is consistent with standards and expectations
Identify and share new best practices/tools/patterns
Lead estimation and scoping of work with product technical teams
Oversee implementation of new technology and systems
Create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Leads estimation process, backlog management, iteration planning, and writing/elaboration of the user stories.
Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project, create requirements
Plan, lead, organize, and control multiple project initiatives according to agreed upon scope, schedule and budget targets
Perform ongoing risk and issue identification and mitigation throughout the life-cycle of the project
Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operational requirements and system goals, identifies and resolves system issues, and schedules and reviews product acceptance.
Interacts with a broad range of internal customers ranging from Sales Analytics TA leads, Field leadership, Brand leadership, Data Strategy and Governance, Commercial Learning and Development, IT.
Establishes and maintains business relationships with key stakeholders within the Commercial organization, and consistently demonstrates a thorough understanding of internal customers’ business needs.
Viewed as a cross-functional subject matter expert and sought for advice on decisions that can impact business operations.
Management and relationship development with key stakeholder groups in Sales, Marketing and Commercial operations.
Management of external consulting resources from a project delivery and timeline perspective.
Enable agile GPro implementation and roll out in collaboration with data strategy and governance, and IT teams.
Field force training and training sustainment on GPro in collaboration with CL&D and GPro field champions with appropriate business context and use cases to enable field adoption
12 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of experience and a Master's degree in IT, business administration, or related fields.
8 Years Agile Product Owner or Project Management experience
MBA or Masters degree preferred. Preferred concentrations in one or more of healthcare, general management, IT, analytics, and data sciences.
Pharmaceutical or healthcare related experience highly desirable.
Familiarity to Pharma commercial data sources and nuances
Strong business acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills; ability to gain consensus and act within a matrix team environment; Ability to work in a collaborative and influencing fashion that drives to business action.
Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects.
Ability to pick up technical and business concepts quickly
Agile experience navigating the SDLC, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, TDD and/or XP
Experience using JIRA to manage product backlogs.
Passion and energy for technology. You are on the forefront of technology.
Strong experience and understanding of web and mobile development technologies and trends

Director, GPro Product Owner
This is an on-site position based in Foster City, CA
GPro an iOS custom application to assist the Field Force in business and pre-call planning. GPro Product Owner is a highly cross functional role that requires a high-level individual contributor who will collaborate effectively with Sales Analytics TA leads, Sales and Marketing Stakeholders, IT and vendor partners as appropriate to determine and execute on TA specific GPro priorities and enterprise level priorities to elevate customer engagement. Coordinate with TA leads and Commercial Learning and Development on GPro training for the field teams. Determine budget and ongoing budget management. Determine GPro product roadmap. Develop ongoing relationships with GPro champions across TAs and serve as the single point of contact from the business side on all things GPro.

The salary range for this position is: $199,835.00 - $258,610.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
