Position Purpose
Leads and directs the Secondary Literacy department in alignment with the district’s Strategic Plan and commitment to academic excellence. Supports campuses, teachers, principals, and district service center staff in implementing a rigorous elementary literacy program for all learners across 6-12 programs. Ensures that the learning and leading division practices are designed to close the achievement and opportunity gaps throughout the District to ensure equity for all learners.
