      Position Summary
      • Provides leadership and direction for imaging services across the system, including radiation oncology managers and breast center imaging services.

      Education
      • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology, Sonography, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Oncology
      • Bachelor’s degree in related field

      Licenses and Certification
      • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), NMTCB, or RDMS

      Experience and Skills
      • Technical Experience: 5 years experience as a Registered Technologist with exposure of all imaging modalities.
      • Supervisory Experience: 8 years of management experience, with 3 years at the director level initiating executive level strategy, promoting physician engagement, and service line development preferred.

      Role Specific Responsibilities
      • Oversees development of programs, policies and protocols that are integrated across the system to enhance operational efficiency, quality, patient safety, and customer satisfaction.
      • Collaborates with facility administrators to ensure imaging services are smoothly and seamlessly integrated into each facility.
      • Responsible for financial performance of imaging services to include preparation of annual budgets, capital needs requirements, and contractual management.
      • Assesses facility imaging services management and leadership capabilities and holds managers accountable for driving high performance.
      • Develops data-based performance and outcome metrics, tracks and trends data and leads change initiatives to move the metrics.
      • Champions process improvements to advance patient care outcomes and experience.
      • Optimizes utilization of both human and material resources, effectively allocating resources across the system.
      • Collaborates with system leadership, assures the care provided at all sites is appropriate and matched with the site resources and capabilities.
      • Develops and implements long term plans for the future growth of the service line and advises system leadership of the resources and support required for service line expansion.
      • Leads efforts to improve patient, physician, and staff satisfaction.
      • Works with system leadership to market imaging service line.
      • Ensures compliance with all state and national licensing, governing body, and regulatory agency recommendations and standards
      • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, evaluates and improves technical and clinical operations within the imaging services departments.
      • Develops and communicates strategic and operational plans and policies consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
      • Responsible for implementing cost effective programs to ensure that the highest level of safety and quality patient care is delivered.
      • Collaborates with Medical Staff in pursuit of quality of care, patient satisfaction, and financial and operational objectives.

      Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

      $125,112.00 - $200,179.20
