What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the complete revenue cycle functions, including registration, billing, collections, and financial reporting for the region
- Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead initiatives to improve revenue cycle performance, reduce denials, and optimize reimbursement processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and health system policies
- Foster strong relationships with regional leaders and healthcare professionals to support revenue cycle initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management or a similar leadership role
- At least 5 years in a Revenue Cycle Leadership position
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, regulations, and best practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in healthcare revenue cycle management or a related field
