      JOB TITLE SUMMARY

      Job Title: Director, Integrated Marketing

      Division: Enrollment and Marketing

      Evaluation Group: Staff Administrator

      FLSA Status: Exempt

      Reports To: Assistant Vice President, Marketing

      Positions Supervised: Specialist, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Content; Specialist, Social Media

      Review of applications will begin on May 19th and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date for the successful candidate is July 11th or later.

      Job Summary

      In support of the University’s strategic plan, the integrated marketing director contributes to marketing operations through programmatic development, print and digital project management, and strategic content integration. This role is responsible for the areas of search engine optimization (SEO), organic social media, digital marketing, print media marketing, and out-of-home marketing and messaging.

      Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

      Job Responsibilities and Execution

      • Supervises the social media specialist and SEO content specialist and their respective goals and objectives
      • Places all out-of-home, streaming, television, and audio advertising
      • Develops copy and manages content for digital campaigns, billboards, print pieces, and web pages
      • Contributes to departmental project management, including incoming requests, stakeholder support, vendor management, and procurement
      • Conceptualizes, builds, and executes enrollment-focused marketing campaigns through competitive research, messaging, audience identification, and benchmarking
      • Monitors all University digital marketing channels, including social media and paid advertising, for appropriate content and branding, optimizing as needed
      • Identifies and evaluates emerging technologies and brainstorms new and creative growth strategies
      • Develops detailed reporting processes that can be easily shared for strategic collaboration and optimization
      • Collaborates with external agencies and other vendor partners on campaigns in support of marketing initiatives
      • Collaborates with internal teams tasked with key projects, including digital and project management support and branding initiatives for special events and programmatic initiatives

      Leadership and Strategic Thinking

      • Establishes long- and short-term strategic goals based on assessment data and ensures standards for the department and its field are met or exceeded
      • Adapts and modifies leadership based on new information and/or data; works to set and unite people on the new direction
      • Utilizes effective strategies to build collaboration for maximum execution
      • Aligns division/department purpose and actions with relevant University initiatives and higher education trends

      Employee Management and Development

      • Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
      • Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values
      • Recruits, interviews, recommends, welcomes, observes, and monitors performance of department staff
      • Sets clear performance expectations and holds employees accountable
      • Conducts annual employee evaluations based on evidence, observation, and feedback

      Job may require other duties as assigned.

      Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.

      • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, business, or a related field
      • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing strategy and execution

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – May be representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.

      • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
      • Strong understanding of the marketing landscape, including digital and web marketing, content marketing, user experience, digital analytics, organic media, print media marketing, and out-of-home advertising
      • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that generate high-quality leads
      • Proficiency in copywriting and copyediting for marketing and communications
      • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community and media partners
      • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
      • Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Facebook Business, and other digital marketing platforms
