- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure optimal financial audit outcomes.
- Design and optimize IT general controls and application testing; manage findings and remediation.
- Oversee control readiness assessments and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Evaluate technology platforms for adherence to control standards.
- Report on program progress to senior management.
- Mitigate key risks prior to audits.
- Lead and develop the IT Compliance and GRC teams.
- Document current control processes and assess audit results for cross-impact analysis.
- Develop educational resources to enhance team knowledge.
- Maintain high standards in program documentation.
- Formal training or certification in Technology Controls with 7-10+ years of experience.
- 5-7 years of IT controls experience, preferably with a top consulting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Certifications such as CPA, CISA, CIA, or CRISC.
- Experience with ERP systems, IT audits, and risk management frameworks like NIST, ISO, COBIT.
- Knowledge of IT general controls, SOX/SOC compliance, and cloud platforms.
- Strong leadership, strategic vision, and collaboration skills.

About the Role
UCT is seeking a talented Director, IT Audit & Compliance to join our team. Preference is for candidates to be based near one of our UCT sites in Hillsboro, OR; Hayward, CA; Phoenix, AZ; or Austin, TX.
As a senior leader in IT audit, compliance, and risk management, you will lead ongoing IT security control initiatives to enhance our security posture. You will serve as a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, information security, and control solutions, owning the 'Second Line of Defense' for IT. Your role involves overseeing a team of IT compliance administrators, coordinating with global teams, and engaging in strategic dialogues with business and technology leaders to shape UCT's IT compliance program.
