      Responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with business leaders across the organization to align IT resources with strategic needs. The position is responsible for leading the system administrator team and project management team, of which are responsible for the design and delivery of core organizational products including Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. This leader will create a roadmap for key products by working with business partners to understand needs and issues. This position will be responsible for understanding emerging technologies and advising customers on trends and solutions.

      *Position allows for some telecommuting/work from home (up to 5 days per week depending upon business need and leader approval). Our office is located in Iowa City, IA.*

      Key Responsibilities

      • Responsible for leading the strategic design roadmap of core UICA products including Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.

      • Directs the functions of business analysis, project oversight, systems administration, system documentation, functional testing, system training, and product communication.

      • Coordinates the design, configuration, and enhancement of new and existing products.

      • Advocates for and acts as an agent of progressive change within the organization and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.

      • Analyzes current business processes and makes recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge (e.g., user centered design)

      • Works directly with clients to understand the individual needs of the business.

      • Understand the operations of business partners and helps with strategic planning of technology needs.

      • Researches solutions to improve service such as processes, standards and/or products.

      • Leads the IT Project Scoring Committee on making recommendations to the IT Steering Committee on strategic priorities.

      • Manages all aspects of the employee lifecycle; inspires performance through clear expectations and ongoing feedback; motivates, develops, coaches, and rewards employees for growth; creates a work environment that is consistent with UICA mission/vision and that emphasizes our organizational culture and values.

      • Plans and oversees the overall operational, reporting, budgetary, and financial responsibilities of assigned unit; develops and maintains work systems, procedures, and productivity standards that advance the mission and goals of the unit and enable optimum performance of the people and other resources within it; allocates resources to effectively accomplish the work of the unit; monitors, evaluates, and aims to improve effectiveness of unit operations; make business decisions that are consistent with UICA mission/vision and our organizational culture and values

      Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field required. 5+ years of relevant experience required. 5+ years managing technical teams and systems administration required.

      Experience with business systems analysis, business process engineering, project management, agile methodologies, change management, preferred. 5 years’ experience working in higher education is preferred.

      Licenses & Certifications : Salesforce Administrator – Required; Salesforce Certified Business Analyst - Preferred
