Manage land activities of the upstream organization, including acquisitions, lease administration, land and well data management, acreage reports, placement of bids at Crown sales, negotiation of farm-in and farm-out agreements and surface rights/access, and resolve legal disputes
Monitor the performance of all land functions, including mineral land, surface land, asset optimization, land and small asset deals (

The Director, Land and Joint Ventures is accountable for leading the Mineral & Surface Land and Joint Ventures functions for our upstream assets as well as collaborating closely with industry contacts, identifying and delivering business development initiatives in partnership with the business development team. This role is responsible for Land & Joint Venture related regulatory compliance, partner notices and contractual compliance to commercial agreements.
The ideal candidate for this role exhibits strong leadership, change management, collaboration and influencing skills. The successful candidate demonstrates a track record of execution excellence and alignment with the business to deliver value.
This position is located at our Corporate office in Calgary, Alberta.
