Salary: $87,000
Job Summary:
The Director, Marketing & Communications is responsible for directing the marketing and communications team in researching and creating content, including visual, digital, and printed material, which connects the internal and external community to the Goodwill NNE brand. Must thrive and collaborate in fast paced, high volume work environment and communicate personal commitment to Goodwill's mission.
Duties Include:
• Managing marketing and communication staff as well as all marketing & communications vendors
• Developing, planning, budgeting, and implementing marketing strategies for all organization business units
• Directing and measuring the impact of the marketing and public relation strategies
• Managing media relations
• Developing contacts with media members, influencer, content freelancers and community leaders
• Directing the creation of all agency online and print materials
• Maintain brand voice and integrity across all platforms
• Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio, and print content
Minimum Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a Marketing & Communications Director or similar role
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
• Understand principles of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing
• Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing
• Impeccable copywriting and copy editing abilities
• Ability to produce in open office environment
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline is preferredPreferred Qualifications:
• Crisis communication experience
