- The Director of Marketing position helps create and maintains a high level of awareness for Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld.
- Create and maintain Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld press kit ongoing distribution to the media with help form the The Director of Sales and Marketing
- Coordinate along with the Director of Sales and Marketing all hotel marketing efforts with Crescent to maximize leverage in all marketing related purchases
- Establish ongoing relations with various media to promote specific promotions and story ideas for publication and review editorial calendars for current and future relevant opportunities
- Solicit and host ongoing individual media visits and press trips including advertising agencies, media agencies, web designers and database managers to further Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld’s exposure to the press and coordinate projects
- Develop and expand exclusive promotional partnerships with area companies and special events to maximize resort exposure and revenue opportunities, with Direction from the Director of Sales and Marketing
- Develop a realistic annual marketing plan discussed with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Crescent with monthly reviews to update and modify as required by market conditions
- Ensure all related websites are continually updated with all the latest information, pictures and group and leisure offers
- Create 3-5 Social Media posts on designated channels
- Maintain up to date public relations photo file for inclusion in appropriate releases
- Attend weekly Manager’s meeting, all general staff meetings, and various departmental meetings to establish story ideas for social media release
- Assist with the direction and implementation on internal marketing campaigns that integrate employee knowledge and support for property marketing activities.
- Work with Director of Sales and Marketing in developing leisure promotions and focus on media placement within region and travel industry publications to increase transient revenues
- Must be flexible enough to work any shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
Director of Marketing will develop, implement, maximize, monitor and evaluate the hotel’s communication objectives, strategies, advertising, public relations and graphics and collateral, to support the objectives set in the annual Marketing Plan. This person will ensure that effective internal and external communications with partners exists. Media & internet relations skills are of the utmost importance.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Hospitality industry marketing experience or a combination of both experience and education in Marketing
