Job Description
- Req#: R2024-0056
- Collaborate with Regional Leaders to develop, deploy, and monitor global strategic marketing for Elekta brachytherapy solutions including market assessment, positioning, competitor analysis, growth objectives , and activity planning.
- Monitor funnel, orders and margin performance with Regional Leaders and adjust the tactical plan and approach when needed.
- Monitor and analyze trends, market data and competitive information.
- Manage potential partners to help develop strategic planning and tools for measuring results.
- Drive commercialization process for new product introductions, in close collaboration with Communications, Product Management and Regional Marketing.
- Build and maintain a network of customers across market segments for proof point generation and messaging testing.
- Plan and drive market access strategy for brachytherapy in new markets, including budget responsibility for translations and other fees.
- Project lead activities such as establishing clear targets, providing effective coaching, and fostering engagement with teams and partners.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline is required .
- 5 years working in a leadership position in strategic marketing, preferably in the medical field.
- Knowledge in the radiation oncology field is a big plus.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven strategic planning and execution skills.
- Project management capability in multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience in driving for and achieving results without formal authority.
- Strong ability to create and work with multi-disciplinary, international environments with both local and virtual teams and drive them towards results.
- Clear and creative communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing.

As the Director of Strategic Marketing for the Brachytherapy department at Elekta you will be responsible for the long-term and go-to-market strategy, and deployment of Elekta brachytherapy solutions worldwide.
You will have a multifaceted role that encompasses various tasks, including expanding business opportunities with new and existing customers, as well as developing strategies for promoting and commercializing Elekta Brachy solutions worldwide.
